Trip to Sergiev Posad, excursion to one of the main sightseeings of  the town of Sergiev Posad - Trinity Sergiev Lavra -  one of the most prominent Orthodox Shrines.

A wonderful view opens from an observation platform at the Blin Hill. Trinity Sergiev Lavra composes of historical buildings with cathedrals. You will learn more about the origin of Russian spirituality and traditions of monastery culture, see the treasure of Orthodox art.

The excursion of Trinity Sergiev Lavra includes visiting all cathedrals and Wooden Dalls Factory or/and Museum (depends on availability) with  a master class of painting wooden dalls.

Departure to Maidan by bus (250km, 4-5 hours, appr. time)

Arrival in Polhovsky Maidan located to the south-west of Nizhny Novgorod, a motherland of another style of matryoshka. Polkhovka is a small village turned into a center of crafts.

Especially it is popular with its nesting dools called as matryoshka.

Visit Voznesenskiy Historical-Lory Museum with master classes

Departure to Diveevo village - a central region of Nizhniy Novgorod situated as far as 175 km from the city. It is known since 1558 that Ivan Grozniy granted the village to his son and the village was named after his son. Diveevo is of special travel interest because this is the fourth and the only in Russia place of origin of the Holy Virgin. This is a true paradise for the tourists interested in pilgrimage.

The museum includes a Salon of handicrafts and Exhibition Hall where various exhibitions are held. During the exhursion tourists will learn about the history of origin of an ancient painted doll and the difference between, for instance, Tverskaya and Semenovskaya matreshka.
