Trip to the Museum of the wooden architecture of the Baikal peoples in the village of Taltsi (30 min.), excursion about the museum. Trip to Listvyanka situated on the Baikal shore by bus (30min). Lunch. Excursion to the Museum of the Baikal Lake. Walks about Listvyanka. Places to visit: St. Nickolas church, Chersky stone, the Angara riverhead and the Shaman-stone. Returning to Irkutsk. Boarding the evening train to Ulan-Ude. |

Arrival to the capital of Buriatia Ulan-Ude. Breakfast. A short walk about the center of Ulan-Ude. Excursion to the Museum of Architecture and Ethnography of the Baikal peoples. Lunch at the Buriatian restaurant. Trip to the village of Turka situated on the Baikal shore, by bus (170 km, 3 hours). Accommodation in a private hotel on the Baikal shore. Russian national sauna. Dinner. |

Breakfast. Trip to the tourist base “Baikal” to the Kotokel lake (25 km) to see the New Year in (the Christmas tree, Father Frost, winter hills, carnival, entertainments, fireworks, New Year party). Accommodation at the base. Gala Dinner. Entertainments. Russian national sauna for those who would like it. Seeing the XX century off. Seeing the XXI century in. Overnight at the base. |

Breakfast. Trip to the hunter’s house in taiga by cross-country vehicle through the very deep snow (3 hours). Dinner at the hunter’s place (the inner interior of the house is decorated with the hunter’s trophies). Walks about the snowy taiga. Supper with the huntsman’s family. Overnight at the hunter’s place or in the huntsman’s house. |

Breakfast. Trip to Ulan-Ude (170 km). Trip to Ivolginsk (34 km, 40 min.) by bus. Dinner. Excursion to the main Buddhist monastery in Russia – Ivolginsky Datsan. There you will see Datsan cathedrals, cult drums, Buddha's mortars and a lot of other interesting and unusual things. Besides, you will see the real Tibetan and Mongolian lamas. Returning to Ulan-Ude. Farewell party in the “Samovar” restaurant. Boarding the train #25 at 22-15 p.m. (local time), night train to Irkutsk. |
