Meeting at the Barnaul airport at 06-30 a.m. (local time). Breakfast. Trip to the archeological complex Denisov cave (360 km) by bus. The way goes through the towns of Biysk and Gornoaltaysk along the famous Chuisky highway connecting Russia with Mongolia and China. Lunch on the way there. Sightseeing in Denisov cave famous for its remarkable archeology. Dinner at the camping "Denisov Cave". Overnight in the tents. |

Breakfast in the camping canteen. Trip to Tyungur village by bus (270 êì). On the way there you will visit the Altai village Mengur-Sokkon, excursion to the local museum, devoted to the history, religion, everyday life and culture of the Altai people. Lunch with traditional Altai dishes in a real ail - the national dwelling of Altai people. Arrival to Tyungur. Preparation to the rafting. Dinner. Overnight in the tents. |

Starting the rafting along the most popular amongst "White Water" lovers river Katun'. The
Katun' is the most full-flow river in Altai region. It is the tributary of the great Siberian river Ob'. It's power and beauty set it in one row with the classical White Water rivers of the world. One can find routes of any grade of difficulty for rafting – from the simplest (upper and lower parts of the river) to the most difficult (middle part of the river). Rafting, included in this itinerary is of middle grade of difficulty at the upper part of the Katun'. Common length of rafting is 195km. FB and overnights in the tents.
A very simple training rafting to the mouth of the river Akkem (20 km). This part of the Katun' is upper one and water flow here is smooth and quiet. According to wishes – foot trip to archeological monument "Stone Women" – "Mengirs". FB, tents. |

Continuation of the rafting to the beginning of the rapid "Akkemski Proriv". Examination of the rapid before passing. Passing one of the most difficult rapids of Katun' "Akkemski Proriv". Continuation of rafting to the mouth of the river Argut. Common length of the day route is 20 km. FB, tents. |

The day of rest. Foot trip along the nice valley of the river Argut. Excursion to the outdoor museum created by Rafting Tourists. FB, tents. Sauna in the Nature! |

Simple rafting to the mouth of the river Bolshoi Yaloman (40 km). FB, tents. |

Preliminary examination of a difficult rapid "Ilgumenski" (big rolling waves). Passing this rapid! Then rafting to the mouth of river Ailaum (25 km). FB, tents. |

Rafting to the rapid "Shabash" ("Sabbath") (30 km). During this rafting you will pass the rapid "Kadrinskaya Tube" (waves, rolls, whirlpools). Preliminary examination of the rapid "Shabash" (two steps of flow, rolls). FB, tents. |

Passing the rapid "Shabash" – one of the most famous and powerful rapids on the Katun' river and then quiet rafting to the mouth of the river Kayancha (25 km). FB, tents. |

The day of rest. Those who wish can make foot trip to the stone stamps of ancient people – petroglifs. FB, tents. |

Rafting to the village Elanda (35 km). During rafting: passing two rapids "Tekdelpen' 1" and "Tekdelpen' 2". That is the END of such an impressive rafting tour – YOU'VE DONE IT! Transportation by bus to the camping on the bank of the Katun' river. Gala Dinner devoted to the End of Rafting with handling Certificate of Great Katun`s Raftsman. Overnight in the camping. Sauna. |
