Happy clients

We were very pleased with the trip. Our guide in Moscow, Edward, was friendly and knowledgeable, but acted a little bit like we were a big group. He did his job, but not much more. Our guide in Dt. Petersburg, Leanna (sp?) was FABULOUS!!!. She was also friendly and knowledgeable, but went above and beyond. She really enjoyed meeting us and talking with us. We asked her lots of questions, she asked us lots of questions. She took us to a good shop for amber when Deb said she wanted to buy some amber jewelry. She recommeded a great local restaurant for lunch, then joined us for lunch. We loved spending time with her. The driver who picked us up at the train station in St. Petersburg (Igor) was not at all friendly or helpful. He said one word to us (his name) from the time he met us to the time he dropped us off at the hotel. We thought he was angry about something!. The next morning Leanna told us he does not speak English. But a smile and more welcoming attitude would have been nice. (We did see him smile once the next day, so we knew he could smile!). If I ever want to travel to another out of the way place again, I would use Kensington Tours.
